One Week Sticky: Bout of Books Read-A-Thon Jan 2018

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am January 8th through January 14th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 21 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team

   Reading Goals

I had a lot of fun with the last Bout of Books Read-a-thon, and find it to be the perfect timing considering it's starting in the new year.

As usual I'll read inconsistently but will try to start the year out with a bang.

Hoping to finish at least five books.

Eyeing some of these to complete:

January 8, 2018

Total number of books I’ve finished today: 1
Pages: 267
Books read
: 41 pages of Dead Things by Stephen Blackmoore, 194 pages of Mayhem at the Orient Express by Kylie Logan (done), 32 pages of Shirley Jackson: A Rather Haunted Life
Things I learned on Twitter: That Twitter politics again seems divided - this time after the Golden Globes and Oprah's speech. And, Black is always in fashion so almost all the dresses and outfits looked great this year for a change.

Also participated in the 1/8/2017 Twitter Chat at 9 EST- as always, had fun.

    January 9, 2018

Total number of books I’ve finished today
    : 1
    Pages: 156
    Books read
: 30 pages of Shirley Jackson: A Rather Haunted Life, 126 pages The Magpie Lord (done)
Things I learned on Twitter:  Nothing soul-shattering today, mainly picked up on the leftover posts from last night's BOB Twitter Chat. Sharing pictures of my cat Malz and bunny Kirby (RIP) was rewarding in itself.

I am so sleepy today - and yesterday - which isn't helping my reading. Ugh.

      Share your 2018 reading goal(s)

Not sure how to do that here. My goal is over 200 books, and the Google sheet is a private tracking thing. I definitely can't take a picture of all those books, and some are electronic anyway. Try to picture it?
